We received notice that the purchaser has scheduled the home inspection for {{ deal.inspectionDate }}.

For planning purposes - typically the inspection will take 2-3 hours, and it is requested that you not be home during that time.  This lets the agent and buyer (if the buyer is present) speak freely during the inspection, and get even more excited about their new home.

Once we receive the home inspection report and addendum, We will be in touch to discuss the findings and any response from the buyers.

In preparation for your home inspection, here are a few pointers:

• Ensure all utilities are on (electric, water, gas) if applicable.
• Ensure clear access to critical inspection areas including electrical panel, subpanels, sump pump, and furnace.
• Attic hatches. For hatches in closets, move any nearby items that might get insulation on them.
• Any other permanently mounted mechanical system.
• Remove any clothing from the washer and dryer and anything blocking the controls.
• Remove any items from the dishwasher.
• Remove any items from the oven, microwave, and cooking surfaces.
